Ntombifuthi Dlamini is a South African actress. She is well known for her role on Uzalo where she plays Mrs. Madlala. Uzalo is a South African soap opera produced by Stained Glass Productions, which is co-owned by Kobedi “Pepsi” Pokane and Gugu Zuma-Ncube. Uzalo started airing in 2015, it has attracted more viewers and is currently among the most-watched show.
Dlamini well known as Mrs. Madlala was approached one afternoon while walking on the street to become an extra on Uzalo Season 1. In 2014 Ntombifuthi was auditioned as an extra. Luckily, she performed well, and impressed the judges during the audition, she ended up landing the Mrs. Madlala role on Uzalo. Prior to her acting career, Dlamini worked as a cleaner at a local clinic.

Before she had joined acting Ntombifuthi was earning an estimated monthly salary range of R15 000 – R25 000. Ntombifuthi says that life was hard before joining the show, she said; “My late sister’s kids live with me and the money I earn helps a lot to support us. I used to struggle before joining Uzalo but now life is better,” Ntombifuthi currently plays the part of Mrs. Madala.
