Lauren Stephenson is an American professional golfer. She started playing golf at the of age 5 years. She currently plays on the LPGA Tour. As an amateur, Stephenson won the 2012 Golf Pride Junior Classic, the 2013 TaylorMade-Adidas Junior All-Star at Chateau Elan, Hank Haney IJGA Junior Open, the 2014 AJGA Girls Championship,
the 2015 Dixie Amateur, the 2016 Eastern Amateur Championship, the 2017 Mason Rudolph Championship, and the 2018 Liz Murphy Collegiate Classic.

Stephenson played collegiate golf at Clemson University for one year and the University of Alabama for two years. She also made two starts on the LPGA Tour at the 2016 and 2017 U.S. Women’s Open, with a career-best T41 finish in 2017 as an amateur. Stephenson was a member of the 2018 U.S. Curtis Cup and Arnold Palmer Cup Teams.

She turned professional in 2018 and finished T8 at the inaugural LPGA Q-Series to earn Priority List Category 14 status for the 2019 season. She made 11 cuts in 20 events in 2019 to retain her LPGA card. During the 2020 Women’s PGA Championship, Stephenson finished tied for 9th at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, thus qualifying her for the 2020 U.S. Women’s Open. When she is not playing golf, she enjoys anything outdoors, shopping, spending time with friends and family. Stephenson is involved with Fellow Christian Athletes (FCA).
