Kristen Rivers is an American socialite and is well known as the mother of NBA player Austin Rivers. Her son Austin Rivers is an American professional basketball player for the Houston Rockets of the National Basketball Association. Rivers led Winter Park High School to back-to-back Florida 6A state championships in 2010 and 2011. He played basketball in college, and have played for different NBA teams such as the New Orleans Hornets, where he was drafted in 2012. Rivers was later traded to Los Angeles Clippers, where he stayed from (2015–2018). Later in 2018, he was traded to the Washington Wizards in exchange for Marcin Gortat. On December 24, 2018, Rivers signed with the Houston Rockets where he plays. Kristen is also known as the mother in law to Dallas Mavericks Point guard and Shooting guard Seth Curry.
