Kelsey Merritt full name Kelsey Alaine Merritt, is a Filipino- American model.
Kelsey was the captain of her volleyball team in high school in Pampanga. She graduated from Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, Philippines with a Bachelor of Arts Major in Communication in May 2017.
Merritt’s first job was working at a local coffee shop when she was 15. Around that time, she saw some of her friends going to open casting calls for models and decided to give it a shot.
She moved to New York City in October 2017 and is currently signed with several major agencies including Supreme Management in New York, Women Management Milano in Milan, Wilhelmina in London, and Nomad Management in Miami and LA.
Kelsey has graced the covers of glossies such as Rogue and METRO, fronted numerous campaigns for international brands like UNIQLO and designers like Vera Wang, and even shot a Maybelline commercial with top model Gigi Hadid.
Merritt will become the first Filipino woman to walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She will join several other models who will walk the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runway for the first time including Winnie Harlow, Sadie Newman, Duckie Thot, and more.
As one of the models of the iconic lingerie brand Victoria’s Secret, she was cast twice by Victoria’s Secret before she finally got the chance to work with the brand. This was made possible by Supreme Management, her agency in New York. In an interview, she said, “I couldn’t believe it. I still can’t believe it. I’ve been modeling for almost six years now and this has been a goal of mine from the start. The competition is so tough here in New York; I could only dream of working with VS.”
