Kate Snow is an American television journalist and correspondent. She serves as a Senior National Correspondent to various NBC platforms, including Today, NBC Nightly News, Dateline NBC, and MSNBC. Snow also anchors the Sunday edition of NBC Nightly News and frequently substitutes for the weekday broadcast. She joined NBC in 2010.
Prior to joining NBC, Snow was at the ABC, where she joined in 2003 as Good Morning America (1975)’s White House reporter before she was tapped to co-host Good Morning America Weekend Edition (1993) from 2004 to 2010. In 1996, Snow Joined the Central New Mexico branch of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Snow was a National Board Member for 10 years and received the Charles G. Berwind Lifetime Achievement Award in 2017.
She attended Cornell University, in Ithaca, New York, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communication in 1991. While at Cornell University, she was a member of the sorority Kappa Alpha Theta and was a newscaster on the student run radio station WVBR-FM. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Foreign Studies, from Georgetown University, in Washington, D.C.
