Kat Moller born Katarina Moller, was a professional jet car driver. She was born on June 15, 1994 in Sarasota, Florida, United States.
Moller started racing Jr. Dragsters when she was 11 years old. Moller graduated from junior drag racing to sportsman cars to dragsters to, finally, a jet dragster. Kat made her professional racing debut in 2014 in her Matrix System Jet Dragster.
She held a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of South Florida and was pursuing a Master’s degree in the same subject at Florida Tech.

Katarina “Kat” Moller died on November 15, 2018 when she was hit by a piece of debris after her car struck a timing device. She was doing an exhibition run at Sebring International Raceway, 113 Midway Drive, when the car drifted toward the center line. As it crossed the line, the car hit the timing device. The car drifted right, scraping the right barrier wall before coming to a stop.
She was in her fifth season with Larsen Motorsports. Larsen Motorsports CEO, Chris Larsen, said in a statement, ““Kat has been part of our racing family for 5 years and we cannot begin to express our sorrow. Your prayers in this very difficult time are appreciated.”
In a statement, the president and general manager of Sebring International Raceway said, “We knew Kat well and were big fans of her personality and her driving skill. Sebring International Raceway and the entire racing community are heartbroken.”

Moller died from injuries sustained in a crash at Sebring International Raceway while making an exhibition run. However, an autopsy is to be done to determine the exact cause of death.
