Karah Rucker is an American journalist from Texas California. She currently serves as Chief Investigative Reporter at Nexstar Media Group, Incorporation. She joined Nexstar Media Group in August 2020 as the Chief Investigative Reporter. Prior to joining the Nexstar Media Group, Rucker was a weekday morning anchor at FOX 51. Before this, she was at KETK, where she served as a News Reporter. Rucker joined the KETK news team in May 2016.

Rucker attended Caney Creek High School between 2008 and 2012. While in high school she was introduced to the world of journalism. She worked for the newspaper, yearbook, and school broadcast, KPAN-TV. She went on to attend Sam Houston State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism. While there, Karah studied multi-platform journalism and became editor-in-chief of the Houstonian, SHSU’s independent student newspaper.

Karah interned in Houston at 104.1 KRBE, the number one morning show. At 104.1 KRBE, she produced content for the Houston Rockets 2015 playoff run.
