Josef Sural (Josef Šural) was a Czech professional footballer. In June 2011, Šural signed a three-year contract with Gambrinus liga side Slovan Liberec. On 13 January 2016, he transferred to AC Sparta Praha. He joined Aytemiz Alanyaspor from Sparta Prague on 15 January 2019.
Sural made his debut for the Czech Republic national team in 2013. He was capped 20 times by the Czech Republic and scored his only international goal in a crucial 3-2 Euro 2016 qualifying win over Netherlands in October 2015.

Josef Sural Death
He died on 29 April 2019 following a minibus crash in Alanya, Turkey. He was traveling on a private bus hired by Turkish Super Lig team Aytemiz Alanyaspor, alongside six teammates when the accident happened. He died in hospital.
Turkish club Aytemiz Alanyaspor said in a statement on Twitter, “Our Czech footballer Josef Sural was gravely injured when our private minibus carrying seven of our footballers had an accident coming back from an away game in Kayseri. Despite the Alanya Anadolu private hospital’s best efforts, Sural couldn’t be saved. May he rest in peace.”
The six teammates who were traveling alongside Sural include former England international Stephen Caulker, ex-Newcastle United player Papiss Cissé, Angolan player Dlajma Campos, Brazilian defenders Baiano and Welinton, and Ghanian international Isaac Sackey.
