John Hagee born John Charles Hagee, is the founder and Senior Pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, a non-denominational evangelical church. He was born on April 12, 1940 in Goose Creek, Texas, U.S.

Pastor Hagee received a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in Waxahachie, Texas and a second Bachelor of Science degree from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas. He earned his Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

He has received Honorary Doctorates from Oral Roberts University, Canada Christian College, and Netanya Academic College of Israel.

In 1966 Hagee founded the Trinity Church in San Antonio, Texas. Hagee resigned as senior pastor of Trinity Church in May 1975. Hagee founded The Church at Castle Hills, on May 11, 1975. On October 4, 1987, Hagee dedicated a 5,000+-seat sanctuary and named it Cornerstone Church.

He is founder and President of Hagee Ministries, which telecasts his national radio and television teachings throughout America and the nations of the world. Over the years, Hagee Ministries has given more than $100 million toward humanitarian causes in Israel.

In 2006, Pastor Hagee founded, and is the National Chairman of Christians United For Israel (CUFI), a grass-roots organization which has grown to become the largest Christian pro-Israel group in the United States with over 3.5 million members. CUFI facilitates in bringing A Night to Honor Israel to every major city in America and conducts an annual Washington D.C.-Israel Summit. The Summit gives thousands of CUFI delegates from every state in the union an opportunity to meet members of congress and speak as one voice on behalf of Israel. Christians United for Israel has opened offices in the United Kingdom and Canada to assist in combating anti-Semitism.
