Jess Harding Love Island

Jess Harding is a contestant on the tenth series of Love Island on ITV2 and ITVX.

What’s your ‘elevator pitch’ for why someone should want to date you?

Firstly I think I’ve got quite a big personality and I’ve got a heart of gold. I can stand up for myself if I need to. I’m honest, and I love, love. I’m also a really good girlfriend.

Why would you say you’re single?

Because every boy is giving me the ick at the moment. I feel like it’s fate because I’m saving myself for Mr Right in the Villa!

What gives you the ‘ick’?

When a guy stunts for money, that’s an ick. Showing off all their designer clothes because most of the time they’re probably fake anyway! Another one is when a boy runs for the train and the train goes without him. Lunch Boxes also – just go to Tesco and get a meal deal!

Jess Harding Plastic surgery

Love Island’s Jess Harding began having plastic surgery at the age of 18, including treatments on her chin, lips, forehead and cheeks.

The London-based aesthetics practitioner commented, “Considering it’s my job I don’t actually have a lot done. I think a lot of practitioners do have their whole face jabbed, but I do stick to the natural look.

“I’ve had a little bit of Botox and just a bit of cheek and chin filler and lips. I had my lips done, since I was 18 I had such little lips, but it started off getting a little bit in my cheeks, just because it gives off that nice contour, it just gives a structure to the face. I don’t think it looks fake or anything like that.”

She started having Botox after a social media post drew a comment about a line on her forehead, which she said was her “biggest insecurity” and says her procedures give her more confidence.

“With Botox, they do say for prevention you should start getting Botox in your early 20s to prevent you from getting wrinkles by the time you’re older. So, it’s a positive. It makes me feel better.”

Working in the plastic surgery industry as an aesthetics practitioner, Jess gets a discounted rate on all things cosmetic, and felt she couldn’t resist.

She added, “When it’s cheap and you can get someone else to do it for you, you can’t really turn it down.”

Jess Harding Jon Clark

Love Island 2023 contestant Jess Harding revealed that former Love Island and The Only Way Is Essex star Jon Clark slid in her DMs but they never went out on an official date. Jon Clark was on the 2015 series of Love Island.

Speaking to The Mirror and other press, Jess confessed: “I had Jon Clark slide in my DMs but he’s a bit too old for me. I proper entertained it – if you’ve got a blue tick, why wouldn’t I? We never went on a date or anything.

“I remember I saw him at Winter Wonderland and he put me in the VIP section but nothing happened.”

Jess explained how she had tried to get Jon help her bag a place on a previous series and would love to know his reaction now.

“He was on Love Island and TOWIE. I always said to him, I remember I applied for it a couple of years ago when I split with my ex-boyfriend. I was like yeah I’m gonna do it. I spoke to him and was like can you try and get me onto the show just for a laugh,” he said.

“It’ll be funny his reaction. He’d be like oh she’s actually done it.”
