Jael Wena is an Australian singer, songwriter, performer, and Television Host. She is known for representing Australia in the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest. In 2019, she was a Semi-Finalist in the 9th season of Australia’s Got Talent. In early 2022, Jael appeared on The Voice Generations and later appeared in the 11th season of The Voice Australia.

The Melbourne native started singing at a very young age and she has had a remarkable music career despite her young age. Jael came to the limelight in 2018 when The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) announced that she had been internally selected to represent Australia in the 2018 Junior Eurovision Song Contest with her song “Champion”. The Junior Eurovision Song Contest was the sixteenth edition of the annual Junior Eurovision Song Contest. The Contest took place in Minsk-Arena, Minsk, Belarus. Jael finished in third place.

In 2019, Jael appeared on season 9 of Australia’s Got Talent. Kristy Sellars, a pole dancer won the series. She has also hosted Stacked! and Jael’s World on ABC TV.

Jael is a contestant in the eleventh season of the Australian reality television singing competition series, The Voice Australia. The Voice season 11 started airing on 18 April 2022. The show airs on Sunday at 7.00 pm, Monday-Wednesday at 7.30 pm on Channel 7 and 7plus. Sonia Kruger returned as the show host while Keith Urban, Jessica Mauboy, Rita Ora, and Guy Sebastian all returned as season 11 coaches as it was announced on 11 October 2021.

For her Blind Audition, Jael performed Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know” and wowed all the four coaches who eventually turned their chairs. All the coaches hit the “I WANT YOU” button, Jael ended up as a member of Team Jessica Mauboy. Jael has already advanced to the battle rounds after her coach, Jessica Mauboy sent her through to her top 6 as of early May 2022.

Prior to the show, Jael had earlier appeared on The Voice Generations. She revealed to her fans in April that she had auditioned for The Voice season 11 as well. She wrote via Instagram, “EXCITING NEWS!!!! as some of you might know I was on the new show the voice generations earlier this year and I can finally announce that I will be on The Voice season 11 as well this year on Channel7, tune in next Tuesday night to see my blind audition!!” Jael Wena’s audition was aired on Tuesday, 26 April 2022.
