Emily Pedersen is a Danish professional golfer who plays on the Ladies European Tour (LET) and LPGA Tour. Pedersen began playing golf at the age of 13. She had a very decorated amateur career, as an amateur, she won several titles including; the 2010 Mølleån Open, Danish Match Play, Royal Tour Damer III, the 2011 Doral Publix Junior Classic and the 2012 Furesøpokalen, DGU Elite Tour Damer III as well as the Doral-Publix Junior Classic. In 2013, she won the Spanish Ladies Amateur, German Girls Open, and the International European Ladies Amateur Championship, and the British Ladies Amateur in 2014.
She also made several team appearances as an amateur including; being in the victorious European team at the Junior Vagliano Trophy in 2011, In 2012 and 2014, she represented Europe at the Junior Ryder Cup, In 2013, she was in the European team at the Junior Solheim Cup and was in the European winning team at the Vagliano Trophy. In 2014, she represented her native country at the Espirito Santo Trophy.
Pedersen turned professional in 2015 and played on the Ladies European Tour. In her rookie year, she played 14 events on the Ladies European Tour and recorded 5 top-10 finishes. On October 25, 2015, Emily earned her first professional victory on the Ladies European Tour at the Hero Women’s Indian Open. She finished 6th on the LET Order of Merit and won the LET 2015 Rookie of the Year. In 2016, she played on the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament where she finished T27 to earn Priority List Category 17 status for the 2017 LPGA Tour season.
