Dylan Frittelli is a South African professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. He earned his first career PGA TOUR title at the John Deere Classic in July 2019. He previously played on the European Tour where he won the Lyoness Open in June 2017 and the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open in December 2017.

Dylan turned professional in 2012 and played on the European Tour via sponsors exemptions for the rest of the year. On the European Tour, he claimed his first European Tour title at the Lyoness Open in June 2017. The Challenge Tour graduate carded six birdies and a single bogey in final round to reach 12-under 276 with rounds of 70-71-68-67 and finish one stroke clear of nearest challengers Mikko Korhonen, David Horsey and Jbe Kruger.

In December 2017, Dylan defeated Arjun Atwal at the first playoff hole to capture the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open when he birdied the first extra hole after both players had finished on 16-under. He advanced to the FedExCup Playoffs for the first time in his career, ending the season at No. 63 in the FedExCup standings following the BMW Championship.

Dylan played college golf at the University of Texas, where as a senior, he sank the winning putt for the Longhorns’ first National Championship in 40 years in the 2012 final against Alabama. The winning Texas team also included Jordan Spieth, who was a freshman. He challenged Spieth for Player of the Year as a senior at Texas.

Prior to Texas, Dylan captured the 2007 Callaway Junior World Golf Championship at Torrey Pines Golf Club in San Diego, Calif., represented his native South Africa at the 2008 World Amateur Team Championship in Adelaide, Australia, where he finished in the top 10, and won the 2008 South African Boys’ Championship.

He ranked No. 1 in the South African Amateur Rankings and the South African Junior Rankings. He also ranked as high as 44th in the Scratch Players World Amateur Rankings and 60th in the R&A World Amateur Rankings. The golfer was named the 2007 South African Junior Golf Foundation Golfer of the Year, was recipient of the 2008 Byron Nelson International Junior Award and placed fourth at the 2007 Doral Publix Junior Championship.
