Dave Spencer is an American journalist currently working as a weekend anchor and weekday reporter at FOX 2 in Detroit, Michigan. It took 13 years for him to learn the ropes, but now he is at home doing what he loves. He came back to Detroit as a reporter, just in time to see a city in the midst of rebuilding itself. He got his start on TV in Lansing after growing up in Troy and attending Michigan State University (MSU). Then he went out on horseback, spending some time in Lexington, Kentucky. He knew that when he took a job that brought him closer to home working in Grand Rapids, he was pure Michigan.
