On Jan 16, 2023, Trav and Cor YouTuber Corey Struve Talbott was arrested near Pebble Beach, CA on charges of public intoxication, trespassing, resisting arrest, and battery on a peace officer.
According to the Monterey County Sheriff’s Department, Corey was drinking at a bar near the golf course to celebrate her birthday. She became heavily intoxicated and security asked her to leave and began to escort her to her room when she refused to comply. After resisting security the sheriff’s office was called.
Deputies arrived and attempted to get Corey back to her room when she started to stand in the middle of the road and stop traffic, the sheriff’s office reported. When deputies attempted to arrest Corey for trespassing at Pebble Beach security’s request, she then kicked at officers. Later, once she was in the back of a patrol vehicle, she allegedly kicked at the back windows of the vehicle, KSBW 8 reported.
A source close to Corey told TMZ, she was “celebrating her bday with her parents (her kid were not there) and alcohol was consumed. Corey did not resist arrest and was slammed to the floor in handcuffs without her Miranda Rights being read to her. Although this behavior is out of character for her, Corey strongly denies misconduct against a police officer and has retained legal counsel.”
Struve claims to have suffered injuries to her shoulder, arm and face during the incident. A source told the publication officers really roughed her up during the arrest.
Her attorney, Scott Erdbacher, told TMZ: “I am concerned about how much aggression was used against my client while she was handcuffed. My concern at this point is about Corey’s well being and her injuries are currently being catalogued by a medical specialist including head to toe bruising, numbness and loss of mobility to her left arm.”

Since then, the sisters, who live five minutes apart in Salinas, California, have enjoyed raising their daughters together.
“It’s pretty funny how close they are,” Corey said. “They’re almost twins.” Katie agreed, adding that their “twins” have “opposite personalities.”
“My sister is more like the leader or outspoken one and I’m the quiet, mellow one and our babies are the complete opposite,” Corey said. “[My daughter Indie is] very loud and takes charge and her daughter [Ryatt] is very quiet and soft and goes with the flow.”
