Carrie Bickmore is an Australian television and radio presenter. She was born on 3 December 1980 in Adelaide, South Australia.

She went to the Anglican girls’ school Perth College and then later attended Curtin University of Technology where she studied journalism, graduating in 2000.

Bickmore currently hosts The Project on Network Ten and Carrie & Tommy radio show on the Hit Network. Prior to her work on The Project, Carrie was on Rove for four years and a member of the breakfast radio team with Nova FM.

She received a TV Week Logie Award for Best New Talent in May 2010, and was nominated for a Gold Logie in 2012, 2013 and 2014. In 2015, Carrie was honored to receive the Silver Logie for Best Presenter and also be awarded the Gold Logie for Most Popular person on television.

Carrie loves drama and dancing. She was a Vice-Dance Captain at school. She took ballet and jazz classes for 10 years and regularly made appearances in Rock Eisteddfods.

She is the Australian ambassador for UNICEF (neo-natal tetanus program), and The RMH Neuroscience Foundation, one of the leading research centres investigating the causes, complications, treatment and prevention of brain diseases.
