Cara Brindisi Parents

Brindisi’s parents are Thomas and Joyce Brindisi. Her parents have been supportive of her music career from an early age.

“It’s really, really special to share all of this. These things in life, these big moments mean nothing if you don’t have people to share them with. My parents, especially, they go to every gig. They go to everything. And they were never stage parents ever,” Brindisi told Telegram. “They just let me do what I love and supported me from day one. And day one was like 7 years old … So just to share that joy with them and share the big excitement of being in Hollywood together, to finally see that on TV, it was so special. And I love them so much and I’m so grateful for them.”

Cara Brindisi The Voice

Worcester singer Cara Brindisi is a contestant on Season 22 of The Voice. She performed Taylor Swift’s “All Too Well” during The Voice Blind Auditions.

Husband and wife duo Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani both turned their chair’s, signifying they want Brindisi on their team. Before Brindisi stepped out on the stage, she told the show : “I definitely want Blake to turn for me.”

Coach Cabello even told the other coaches that Brindisi should be on Shelton’s team — and Shelton agreed.

“Clearly, I heard the country side of you. I heard some twang coming out of your voice, and it was ringing my bell. It really was…I heard something I haven’t heard this entire season. I want this girl on my team.,” Shelton said.

But despite her initial plan to go with Team Blake, Brindisi made an unlikely last minute choice of choosing Team Gwen after Stefani told her that they both relate to Brindisi’s claims of loving storytelling through music.

“I love storytelling. I just love putting your heart in a song and being able to relate to to something that somebody went through and then letting the vocal take you there. I don’t think that it matters about genre as much as it matters about the heart, and music is the vessel to that,” Stefani told Brindisi. “If you want me, Team Gwen is here for you.”

“I didn’t really expect this, but my gut is Gwen,” Brindisi told the coaches in front of her.

After officially becoming a part of Team Gwen, Brindisi told the show: “I had both Blake and Gwen as my top two. But, when she gave me her two cents about why I would be a good fit for her team, it really did it. It just clicked.”
