Callan Chythlook-Sifsof is an American snowboarder who has competed in snowboard cross since 2005. After earning a spot on the U.S. C Team in 2006, Chythlook-Sifsof jumped directly to the A Team in 2007 after winning the Visa U.S. Snowboardcross Championships and taking third at World Cup in Furano, Japan, the first World Cup of her career.

She won the U.S. National Championships in Tamarack, Idaho in 2007. In 2008, she won the Jeep King of the Mountain World snowboard series in Sun Valley. In 2007, she took 4th at Stoneham, Quebec, World Cup, 8th at Junior World Championships and 19th at World Championships. In 2005, she won at USASA Nationals SBX and the Jackson Hole Evolution Tour SBX. She was on the U.S. snowboard cross team from 2005 to 2014.

“It’s almost a blessing that the Olympics are happening in Russia and these issues are coming out,” Chythlook-Sifsof added. “It gives the world a chance to view it and it gives athletes a chance to voice their opinions about it and to show every country in the world that this is not OK.”

In a series of posts to Instagram beginning on Feb. 6, Callan Chythlook-Sifsof accused longtime head coach Peter Foley of sexual harassment and taking “naked photos of female athletes for over a decade.” Chythlook-Sifsof also accused Olympic athlete Hagen Kearney of intimidating behavior and using racial slurs.
