Bobby Gonzalez is an American Emmy Award-winning journalist who serves as a producer, creator, and host of the KTLA podcast Spoken Dreams. The podcast is a platform where local actors, artists, musicians, and filmmakers could open up about their triumphs, struggles, and everything in-between as they sought to achieve their dreams in the Los Angeles entertainment industry. I wanted to give them a place where they could share their own stories in their own words. Besides that, he is also an associate producer for the Emmy Award-winning signature broadcast. He also pitched an idea and came up with the “Frank Buckley” Interviews which is now a television show. He is a digital multimedia journalist appearing on 5 Live, KTLA’s digital-only newscast.
He went to work with KTLA in 2012 and has served in many different roles throughout his career at the station, including as a producer for the KTLA 5 Morning News and the Frank Buckley Interviews television program. In 2016, he launched the station’s first podcast and has since overseen the production of a dozen KTLA podcasts. He joined the 5 Live teams in 2020.
