AleXa kpop (full name Alexandra Christine Schneiderman) is a South Korea-based American K-pop and EDM singer and dancer. She is professionally known as AleXa and formerly called Alex Christine or Kim Seri. AleXa is known for Rising Legends and Mnet’s Produce 48. On March 3, 2022, it was announced that AleXa will take part in the American Song Contest, representing Oklahoma with the song “Wonderland”. American Song Contest started airing on March 21 on NBC. The show is hosted by Kelly Clarkson and Snoop Dogg.
AleXa has been dancing since she was eighteen months old and she is a remarkable dancer. She is experienced in ballet, jazz, hip hop, and tap dance. AleXa attended Jenks High School in Jenks, Oklahoma. While at Jenks, she was part of the show choirs Jenks Varsity Pom and the Jenks Trojanaires, which competed nationally. She went on to join Tulsa Community College in Tulsa, Oklahoma. While in college, AleXa was involved in theatre. She was still a huge fan of K-pop and created Instagram and Snapchat accounts dedicated to covering K-pop songs and choreography while in college.
AleXa came to the limelight in 2016 when she competed in the Rising Legends online audition run by Soompi. She finished placed #1 in the dance category. The following year, she returned when Soompi partnered with Cube Entertainment. She finished placed #1 in the dance category for the second time. Despite her remarkable success, AleXa did not make it into either of the companies’ trainee programs. She ended up signing with ZB Label. In 2018, she participated in Produce 48.
On October 19, 2019, she released her debut single album titled “Bomb”. Two months later, AleXa collaborated with Diablo, a rock music band to release a rock version of the song on December 13, 2019. On April 1, 2020, she released her mini-album titled ‘Do or Die’. She later released her second mini-album called ‘Decoherence’ on October 21, 2020.
AleXa has released several Single albums including Bomb, ReviveR, and Tattoo. Her Singles include A.I Trooper, We Can, Villain, Revolution, Never Let You Go, and Xtra, all are from her music albums. In 2020–21, she co-hosted “How Did I Get Here?” podcast. On March 18, 2022, it was announced that AleXa would be making her acting debut in the Netflix Korean drama Goedam 2.
