Alex Tejada is an American multimedia journalist and reporter who works at KTTC, a station licensed to Rochester, Minnesota, United States. He has been working with KTTC since April 2019. He is originally from Alabama and has a degree in Mass Communication from the University of Montevallo as well as a degree in International Business from Auburn University.
He moved from nearby Mankato, where he worked as a multimedia journalist for KEYC News 12. Prior to his time at KEYC, he was an intern at WBRC Fox 6 in Birmingham, Alabama and served as play-by-play announcer for Montevallo Falcons athletics. He fluently speaks Spanish and often travels across the globe to visit family in several different countries. His ancestor, Sebastian Lerdo de Tejada, was the President of Mexico in the 1870s.
He is a huge fan of sports, especially soccer: playing for years, watching leagues from all over the world and supporting Arsenal Football Club. During his free time, he is often keeping up with family and friends back home. He enjoys horror movies and hopes to write and direct one of his own one day.
