Ryan Niemiller Biography – Ryan Niemiller Wiki

Ryan Niemiller is an American comedian born with a disability in both arms. The self-proclaimed “Cripple Threat of Comedy” shares his views of the world from the perspective of the handicapped.

Ryan began his comedy career in Los Angeles, California, performing in clubs and colleges across the country. He tackles topics such as dating, trying to find employment, and attempting to find acceptance in a world not designed for him. He has been seen on “Laughs” on Fox, Comcast on Demand, the Laughing Skull Festival, and Trial by Laughter.

Ryan’s official website reads, “With his quick wit, great timing, and a gimmick that only he can exploit, Ryan hopes to prove to the comedy world that he may be unarmed, but he is dangerous.”

He received a degree in theater from Indiana State University in the hopes of becoming a professional wrestler but soon realized his body wasn’t cut out for that line of work and chose to pursue stand-up comedy.

Fellow comedian Brad Scott — who co-founded stand-up collective DIY Jokers with Niemiller, Brent Terhune and Dave Landau — said Niemiller isn’t limited by his physical condition. Scott said, “I can’t tell you one thing he’s asked for help doing when I’ve been around him. He’s more functional than I am, and I have both of my hands and arms.”
