Kristin Tate is an American author and writer focused on taxation and federal spending. She writes a weekly column for The Hill Newspaper, which is featured often on Real Clear Politics, The Drudge Report, and national cable news networks (CNN). Kristin also serves as an analyst for the nonprofit Young Americans for Liberty, advising the organization in its mission to promote limited government and fiscal responsibility. Kristin hosts a podcast presented by Young Americans for Liberty titled “You Built that”. The podcast focuses on entrepreneurship, free enterprise, and free-market politics. She is also a Novak Journalism Fellow at the Fund for American Studies, examining the size and scope of the federal workforce.
Kristin has written three books her latest, The Liberal Invasion of Red State America (Regnery Publishing, 2020), reveals the astonishing political consequences of domestic migration from blue states to red states.
Her previous books are How Do I Tax Thee? (St. Martin’s Press, 2018) and Government Gone Wild (Hachette Book Group, 2016).
