Xiyu Lin is a Chinese professional golfer. Born Xi Yu Lin was born on February 25, 1996, in Guangzhou, China. Lin started playing on the China LPGA Tour in 2011 after turning professional. She won seven times on the CLPGA, in 2012, she won twice the Tian Jing Challenge, Srixon XXIO Ladies Open, the Sanya’s Hills Ladies Classic, in 2013, won twice the Sanya’s Hills Ladies Classic, Sanya Ladies Open in 2014, the Sanya Ladies Open in 2015 and in 2019 she won the Macalline Women’s China Open.
Lin began playing on the Ladies European Tour (LET) in 2013 and she has earned two victories on the tour of the Sanya Ladies Open in 2014 and 2015. She started competing on the LPGA Tour in 2014 with the best finish of T-5 at the 2015 Blue Bay LPGA. In 2011 she qualified for the US Women’s Open and made her debut on the LPGA Tour. Lin competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics, finishing 38th. Lin credits her fellow professional Shanshan Feng as the biggest influence on her career
