Teny Geragos is a criminal defense attorney. She is a founding partner of Agnifilo Intrater LLP alongside Marc Agnifilo and Zach Intrater. She defends individuals in federal and state criminal cases at both the trial and appellate level.
Prior to founding Agnifilo Intrater, Teny was associated with Brafman & Associates, P.C. for approximately eight years, where she successfully defended a wide range of criminal matters including $&# assault, securities fraud, wire fraud, public corruption, tax evasion, narcotics, FCPA, and cases that have potentially serious collateral consequences, such as deportation.
Teny is particularly experienced in defending and investigating allegations of sexual misconduct, which involve complex legal issues and emotional charged situation. She has represented numerous individuals accused of $exual assault, $exual harassment, or other types of $exual misconduct. She also has led several internal investigations, including in the construction and healthcare industries.

Teny Geragos is the daughter of Armenian-American criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos. Mark has represented a number of celebrity clients over the years, including Combs, Winona Ryder, Chris Brown, Kesha, Michael Jackson, and Susan McDougal.
Mark is the oldest son of Paul John Geragos, a lawyer, and Betty Jane, a school teacher. Betty and Paul married in Fresno and started their life in Los Angeles.
Paul started college at Valparaiso and eventually transferred to UCLA graduating with a degree in International Relations. He went on to The USC Law School. Upon completing law school and passing the Bar Paul became a Deputy District Attorney.
Paul had an illustrious legal career spanning nearly sixty years. The first thirteen years of his professional career he was a hard charging Major Crimes Prosecutor with the LADA’s office, making $17,000 per year. He left the DA’s office and went out on his own. Other than a brief partnership for a year he was a solo practitioner for almost 11 years until he partnered with his son Mark when he became a lawyer in 1983 and they inaugurated Geragos & Geragos. Years later his son Matthew joined the firm.
Paul passed away peacefully at his home in La Cañada Flintridge on October 21st at the age of 89.

Attorney Teny Geragos is married to her husband Ashwinn Krishnaswamy, co-founder of design and development agency Forge. Teny and Ashwinn met during their sophomore year at NYU and studied abroad in Prague together. They remained friends post-graduation, and after Teny graduated from Loyola Law School and moved back to New York, the two started dating. After two wonderful years together, he proposed in May 2020 on the roof of her dad’s office building with an emerald-cut ring. The diamond belonged to her paternal grandmother, Betty Jane.

The two also repeated their vows from their Hundi ceremony that they had held two weeks prior in Salt Lake City. After being announced as husband and wife, guests met at Teny’s parents’ home in Los Angeles for cocktails on the tennis court.
“I always wanted to get married at my parents’ house, and with the uncertainty around COVID, it made the garden venue an even more perfect option,” Teny told Over The Moon. She knew she wanted a lot of color, and her mother Paulette Kassabian took control of the planning, inspired by the Luxembourg Gardens in Paris.
