Tara Robinson Biography – Tara Robinson Wiki

Tara Robinson is the executive director of YouthLink Calgary and a former TV Journalist. She has been serving as the executive director of YouthLink Calgary Police Interpretive Centre since March 2013. She previously served as the executive director of Calgary Police Foundation from Apr 2015 – Jul 2017, and Calgary Child Advocacy Centre from May 2011 – Oct 2012.

Robinson began her journalism career at CTV Lethbridge, where she was a Television News Anchor from Jan 1993 – Jul 1995. In July 1995, she joined CTV Regina as a weekend reporter. She went on to become a news anchor. She was the first woman co-anchor for the 6:00 News at CTV Regina and was voted Regina’s favorite news anchor several years in a row.

Tara Robinson and Manfred Joehnck co-anchored the CTV supper newscast from 2001-2007, when she left Regina. Joehnck died suddenly on February 4, 2018 at the age of 64, in Battleford, where he was covering the murder trial of Gerald Stanley, a farmer charged in the death of Colten Boushie of Red Pheasant First Nation. Joehnck described their co-anchoring relationship as: “We’re like an old married couple: we argue a lot — and no $ex!”

She left CTV Regina on July 13, 2017, and joined CTV Calgary. She was a Television News Anchor, Reporter at CTV Calgary from Aug 2007 – Oct 2010.
