58-year-old Stephen Parkes is a contestant in Series 8 of The Great Pottery Throw Down, hosted by Siobhan McSweeney. The show follows twelve home potters as they compete in the battle of the clay to become champion of the pottery – judged by experts Keith Brymer Jones and Richard Miller. They will be joined by former The Great Pottery Throw Down contestant Princess Fingall as Kiln Technician following the decision of Rose Schmits to leave the show.

The Great Pottery Throw Down starts Sunday 5th January at 7.45pm on Channel 4.
