Simone Arena is an Italian professional dancer and choreographer. He has appeared on the leading ballroom and Latin famous show “Burn the floor” and performed as well on Strictly Come Dancing. His dance styles include Ballroom, Flamenco, Latin American, Swing/Jive and Tango.
The professional ballroom and Latin dancer and choreographer appeared as a dancer on the dance show Burn the Floor in 2019, as well as a dancer and assistant choreographer on Strictly Come Dancing in 2018. In 2022, he won the third series of Dancing with the Stars Belgium with his dancer partner Nina Derwael.
Arena started dancing at the age of 7 in Catania, Italy. From a young age, he consistently trained with teachers known as the best coaches in the Latin and Ballroom dance world. By the age of 16 Arena became the Vice Italian Latin Champion. He then went on to compete internationally, Travelling the world to take part in all major competitions.
In 2012, Arena relocated to New York City where he continued with his competitive career, taking influence from some of the best artists in the industry. He has also appeared on the Italian TV dance show “Amici” in 2017 and the UK series ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ Blackpool special. In 2018, he joined the UK production ‘Somnium – A Dancer’s Dream’.
