Shane Lowry is an Irish professional golfer who plays on the European Tour and the PGA Tour. He turned professional the week after his The 3 Irish Open triumph on 17 May 2009. He joined the PGA TOUR in 2015. On the PGA TOUR, he has won two titles; the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational in August 2015 and The Open Championship in July 2019. On the European Tour, he won the Portugal Masters in October 2012 and the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship presented by EGA in 2019.
