Scott Piercy is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He has four PGA Tour victories. His tour wins came at the 2011 Reno-Tahoe Open, the 2012 RBC Canadian Open, the 2015 Barbasol Championship, and the 2018 Zurich Classic of New Orleans with Billy Horschel.

Piercy, who grew up in Las Vegas, started his college career at BYU. He transferred to San Diego State in 1999 and played three years for the Aztecs. Piercy’s best season for the Aztecs came as a junior during the 1999-2000 campaign when he led the squad with a 72.55 stroke average, while capturing two individual titles and finishing in the top 20 on seven other occasions en route to a spot on the all-Mountain West Conference team. As a sophomore, he also posted SDSU’s lowest score (78-78) at the 1999 NCAA Championships, the Aztecs’ first appearance in the tournament since 1982.

Piercy turned professional in 2001. In 2007, Piercy won the Ultimate Game at Wynn Las Vegas G&CC, earning $2 million. In 2008, Piercy won the Preferred Health Systems Wichita Open and the Northeast Pennsylvania Classic and finished in the top 25 six times. Additionally, Piercy made 13 cuts in 19 events.

Piercy was one of 25 Nationwide Tour players awarded a 2009 PGA TOUR Card after placing ninth among the top-25 money winners of the season. Piercy secured his card after finishing in 31st place at the season-ending Nationwide Tour Championship at TPC Craig Ranch near Dallas, Texas.
