Ryu Hae-ran is a South Korean professional golfer playing on the LPGA Tour. She first joined the LPGA Tour in 2023 and won her maiden LPGA major title at the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, on June 28, 2026.
As an amateur, Ryu won the 2018 Korean Women’s Amateur and finished fifth at the 2018 Asian Games. She was named KLPGA Rookie of the Year in 2020 and is a five-time winner on the KLPGA between 2019 and 2022. In 2022, she earned medalist honors at LPGA Q-Series, becoming the third player from the Republic of Korea to do so along with Jeongeun Lee6 (2018) and Narin An (2021), to first earn LPGA Tour Membership for 2023.
Ryu went on to win at the 2023 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G. In 2023, she earned Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year honors, clinching the award with 893 points following the ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican. She became the sixth player from Korea since 2015 to earn the honor and the 14th Korean since Seri Pak (1998).
Ryu earned victories at the FM Championship in 2024 and the Black Desert Championship presented by Greater Zion in 2025. In 2026, she won the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship by two strokes over her countrywoman Yoon Ina at 13-under 275, after shooting a final round of two-under 70 at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, on June 28, 2026. Ryu earned $1.95 million in prize money from the overall $13 million purse.
