Rosanna Price is an archaeologist and expert on the BBC’s Digging for Britain. She is currently an archaeology engagement manager at Cotswold Archaeology in Cirencester, England, United Kingdom.
She previously held several roles at Cotswold Archaeology, including senior archaeological illustrator and engagement lead, senior archaeological illustrator and engagement officer, deputy senior archaeological illustrator and engagement officer, deputy senior archaeological illustrator and social media officer, and archaeological illustrator and social media officer.
Before joining Cotswold Archaeology, Rosanna was a social media officer at Archaeological Solutions Limited. She also served as archaeological geomatics & illustration officer, as well as a post-excavation supervisor. Rosanna started her career as an osteoarchaeologist at Kent Osteological Research & Analysis. She went on to work as a field archaeologist at various firms.

Rosanna announced the good news in a post on LinkedIn. She wrote: “I’m pretty excited to say that, in 2025 when the Digging for Britain team were scouting for new presenters, Prof Alice Roberts put my name forward to the BBC — since May, I’ve had the pleasure of working with the wonderful DfB team!
“The outcome? I’ve been lucky enough to host a special feature on the exceptional work of our archaeologists at Sizewell C, showcasing the sensational discoveries they’re making on the Suffolk coast. The team are expanding our knowledge of East Anglia’s, and the country’s, ancient history at an astonishing rate.”
