Robert Finch is a former Australian rugby league footballer. He is known for playing for Australian rugby league football clubs such as St George Dragons in the 1070s and NSW Country in the 1980s. During his seven seasons tenure with St George Dragons, Finch recorded two premiership victories in 1977 and 1979.

Finch is from Maitland, New South Wales and he started out as an Australian schoolboy representative on the 1972-73 tour of England. In his debut season, he won the Under-23 Grand Final with St George Dragons. In 1981, he moved to Newcastle after his first-grade career was over. Finch represented Country Firsts in 1981 and later started coaching with Newcastle Knights in the lower grades and an administrative career with Super League and Canberra Raiders. He later served as a referees coordinator with The National Rugby League (NRL).
