Radha Rü is a contestant on season 18 of MasterChef UK on BBC One and BBC iPlayer. She is a private chef at The Spicy Flexitarian, a private dining experience in West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. As well as the private dining, she also caters for many other events: afternoon tea, mixology cocktail parties, BBQs and many other events incluing a 9-course Tasting Menu.

According to her private dining experience website: “After graduating from University [University of Huddersfield] with a Law degree, I decided to take a leap and become a private chef. At an early age I started watching cookery shows with my family and when I watched the chefs cook on the TV I would feel the adrenaline rush and a pure passion for the creativity and uniqueness of the food which was being presented. I have always been creative and have had a love for trying new foods, so this career change made sense.

“What started this pursuit of becoming a private chef is the ongoing experience of the BBCs MasterChef programme, where I am currently a contestant. The feeling of adrenaline I got watching the telly when I was younger was amazing and one I hope to feel in the MasterChef kitchen. I will be using the knowledge and skills from MasterChef as a foundation to create and build my private dining experience – The Spicy Flexitarian by Chef Rü | Private Chef.”

Chef Radha Rü is a MasterChef UK 2022 contestant. The home cook announced her appearance on the BBC competition on Instagram.

“The secret is out.. You will be seeing my face on MASTERCHEF!!! I’m going to be a contestant on @masterchefuk S18,” Radha wrote. “I can’t quite believe I’m writing this now and telling you all (FINALLY).. it’s been so tough to keep it a secret, I’ve just wanted to tell everyone and anyone.”
