Olivia Rowan Biography – Olivia Rowan Wiki

Olivia Rowan is a ceramics artist and contestant on The Great Pottery Throw Down 2025. She is also an Art and Design teacher based in Liverpool. Her practice explores the freedom of movement within the material through both hand-building and wheel-throwing techniques.

Olivia’s favourite subject was always art and she particularly loved hand-building with clay, which lead her to study ceramics at university. Since graduating in 2020 from Central Saint Martins with a BA Hons in Ceramic Design, Olivia has been teaching art, design, and ceramics to students of all ages.

Driven by a passion for sharing the beauty and therapeutic qualities of clay, she founded Clay Workshop in December 2024, which she now runs alongside her partner and co-director, James Edward Pryce. Clay Workshop is based in Liverpool’s City Centre, offering memberships, workshops, courses, and private events for all ages and abilities.

Despite thinking about clay everyday, she finds time to pursue her other passions such as playing drums with her dad’s political punk rock band and attending music and arts festivals with her boyfriend James. Also a keen cyclist, she often leads cycle tour groups around her hometown of Liverpool and even cycled all the way to Glastonbury with her dad.
