Nadia Suliaman is a Welsh entrepreneur and a contestant on The Apprentice 2025. She is the co-owner and brand director of Forbici Knightsbridge, a premium salon chain. She boasts a clientele list of celebrity regulars.

Nadia studied business management at the University of Swansea. After graduating, she moved to London and got a job with Coca Cola. It was while in this job that Nadia realised her passion to start her own business.

In 2020 Nadia took the plunge and with her business partner Tyson Grant – an internationally acclaimed and award-winning hair stylist – opened up a luxury hair salon in Knightsbridge, London.

Speaking about her business plan, Nadia told the BBC: “Introducing a new luxury product range with a twist, which incorporates an online application and members club for hairdressers, barbers and customers to interact with each other. The idea is to take the customer on the full journey and to be recognised as a one-stop destination for all hair, beauty barbering and retail product needs. The second element of the business plan is to expand into more locations across the UK and globally.”

Nadia Suliaman is engaged to Tyson Grant, a professional hairdresser. She met her fiancé, Tyson Grant, when he was working as a senior barber and hairdresser in Knightsbridge.

Nadia and her partner Tyson opened the first branch Forbici Knightsbridge in February 2020. Forbici means scissors in Italian, and with Tyson’s connection to Italy and being nicknamed scissors at the age of 17, the name was very fitting for the brand.

The show sees 18 brand new candidates battle it out for the opportunity of a lifetime – to win Lord Sugar’s £250,000 investment and mentorship.

Originally from Swansea, Nadia is looking for investment in her new luxury product range. When asked why she deserves Lord Sugar’s investment, she said: “Lord Sugar should invest in my business because of my ability to turn dreams into reality. If I had listened to the world, I would never have started my own business. The business to date has proven growth even with adverse conditions such as COVID during a time when most of the high street collapsed.”

During the competition, Nadia is looking to “really push myself into areas I have never been in before. I have dealt with high-pressure business environments; however, I have never experienced the pressure of being on TV. I’m interested to see how I evolve and adapt. I am also looking to build relationships with awesome people and ultimately win the process. I want to re-affirm to myself that ‘if I put my mind to it, I can do It’.”
