Mirra Andreeva, full name Mirra Aleksandrovna Andreeva, is a Russian professional tennis player. She has been ranked as high as world No. 6 in singles, achieved on 17 March 2025, and No. 18 in doubles, reached on 31 March 2025. The Krasnoyarsk native has won three WTA Tour singles titles, including two WTA 1000 events. She won the women’s doubles silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics with Diana Shnaider.

Originally from Krasnoyarsk, Mirra began playing aged 6. She moved to Sochi and then Cannes, France, with her sister Erika to set up a training base with coaches Jean-Rene Lisnard and Jean-Christophe Faurel. She is coached by Conchita Martinez and represented by IMG.

Mirra made her professional debut at W15 ITF Circuit event at Sharm El-Sheikh in February 2022. She has 6 six ITF Circuit singles titles. As a junior, she was the girls’ finalist at the 2023 Australian Open. Also in 2023, she reached R16 at Beijing (l. Rybakina), leading to Top 50 debut and was voted WTA Newcomer of the Year.

“It was tough for both of us,” Erika said in an interview afterward. “First experience, and both of us were happy it happened at a big tournament. But I’m not sure we enjoyed it.”

The last such meeting came in the second round of Lexington 2020, the 31st and final installment of the rivalry between Serena and Venus Williams. Czech twins Karolina and Kristyna also played each other 10 times at professional level, with five wins apiece — but Kristyna won their only match in a main draw 6-2, 3-6, 7-6(7) in the 2019 Birmingham second round.
