Michael Marion (born Michael Kenneth Marion) was the husband of Bobbie Thomas, style expert, and Today show contributor. Michael was a partner and office practice leader in the Tax Transactions group at Mayer Brown LLP. He joined Mayer Brown’s Tax Transactions Practice in New York as an associate in 2005 after receiving his LLM in Tax at New York University School of Law and his JD at George Washington University Law School. There will never be enough time and some of our forevers are much too short. As I type through tears, I embrace gratitude … holding our precious son Miles and memories, of the time I did have with Michael, closer to my broken heart. Thank you all for the love and support you’ve shown us and our families. Please go hug the people you love.

He came home from the hospital in a wheelchair and was eventually able to walk again with assistance. We’re grateful for the doctors, nurses, and patient care staffers who deserve so much more than a paycheck. Their kindness and dedication truly inspire us to keep moving forward. We are also grateful for the support and encouragement from close friends and loved ones who knew when to continue to reach out.
