Max Mcgreevy is an American professional golfer. In July 2021, the former Oklahoma golfer secured a spot on the PGA Tour after crossing the fail-safe threshold of 1,650 Points on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Max was a member of the Sooners from 2013-2017 and had a sensational collegiate career punctuated by being a key piece in Oklahoma’s run to the 2017 national title winning his matches in both the national semifinals as well as the national championship. He was named to the All-Big 12 team in both 2016 and 2017 and was named a Division 1 PING All-America third teamer in 2016.

After finishing his collegiate career, Max turned Professional in 2017. In the 2017 season, he had one runner-up and two other top-10 finishes on the Mackenzie Tour-PGA TOUR Canada Q-School-Canada, and concluded the year 17th on the Order of Merit to secure an exemption into the second stage of Korn Ferry Tour Q-School. He became a member of the Korn Ferry Tour in 2018. In the 2018 season, the golfer finished the Korn Ferry Tour Regular Season No. 161 on the money list.

In the 2019 season, Max decided to play in China after former University of Oklahoma teammate and the PGA TOUR Series-China’s all-time money list leader Charlie Saxon persuaded him. He played in all 13 tournaments without missing a cut and recorded an impressive nine top-10s. He had one victory (Guangzhou Open) and only finished outside the top-20 on two occasions. His consistency earned him a return for the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour season as the Order of Merit winner and Player of the Year.

Max finished the 2020-21 combined season No. 12 in the Korn Ferry Tour points standings after recording a win, seven top-10 finishes and 15 top-25 finishes across 41 starts. He earned his first Korn Ferry Tour title at the 2020 Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr Pepper finishing the week at 21-under 267.
