He is known for his roles as Christopher in Mrs. Doubtfire and for playing Jack Hunter in Boy Meets World. Matt starred as Matt Roman in the television series, Brotherly Love with his real-life brothers Joey and Andrew. Matthew is the husband of Cheryl Burke, an American professional dancer.

He started acting in the mid-1980s and made his acting debut as Danny Carrington in Dynasty. Since then Matt has appeared in several films and Television series.
