Marc Leishman is an Australian professional golfer who currently plays on the PGA Tour. He turned professional in 2005. In 2009, he won the Rookie of the Year award on the PGA Tour. Leishman is a six-time PGA TOUR winner and has played on the International Team in the President’s Cup four times.

Leishman was born and raised in Warrnambool, Victoria. He attended he Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS) before turning pro in 2005. Leishman spent a year on the Korean Tour where he earned enough money to travel to United States.
