Luba Mushtuk is a Russian dancer and choreographer. Mushtuk was born in Saint Petersburg, Russia. At the age of 12, she moved to Italy to study under Caterina Arzenton. She is a four-time winner of the Italian Dance Championship and Italian Open Latin Show Dance champion. In 2018, the BBC announced that Mushtuk would join the cast of professional dancers on the British television show Strictly Come Dancing. The same year she won the 2018 Children In Need special together with Shane Lynch.
She also competed in the 2018 Christmas special, she was partnered with EastEnders actor and Strictly Come Dancing 2014 contestant, Jake Wood.
During the seventeenth season of Strictly Come Dancing, Mushtuk was paired with rower James Cracknell. They were the first couple to be eliminated after losing the first dance-off to David James & Nadiya Bychkova. They finished in 15th place with an average score of 12.0. For the eighteenth series, she was partnered with former NFL player and sports pundit, Jason Bell. Mushtuk has also performed with the Broadway and West End productions of Burn the Floor.
