He was recently spotted in his girlfriend Khanyi Mbau’s pictures. On September 10, 2016. the three are claimed to have defrauded a Harare Microfinancier of $166 000 using fake documents to apply for a loan.

In the fake documents, they claimed to be employees of a non-existing Air Company called Dream Air Company, as of the fake documents. Their loan request was approved and $166 000 was deposited into their CBZ Bank account. They later tried to get another loan of $37 500, from the same Microfinancier using the same fake documents but their plan was cut short after the Microfinancier suspected their documents. They were discovered after the Microfinancier contacted CBZ Bank to check their bank statement.
