Katie Griffiths, 32, is an actress and writer from Chigwell, Essex, England. She is known for playing Chlo Grainger in the BBC’s school-based drama series Waterloo Road from 2006 to 2009, and in 2022. She is also known for her roles in Hatfields & McCoys (2012) and Rock & Chips (2010) as of her IMDb profile. In September 2021 it was revealed that Waterloo Road is returning for a new series after taking a six-year break. Katie is among the cast who will make a return in the new series.

She started acting at an early age and joined Stage 84, The Yorkshire School of Performing Arts when she was 12 years old. Since making her screen debut in 2006, she has appeared in several films, short films, and television series playing different roles. The new series of Waterloo Road will be set and made in Greater Manchester with few faces from the previous series making a return and new cast members who are yet to be revealed. It is set to premiere later in 2022.
