Judge Andrea Ricker Wolfson is a Circuit Court Judge of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida. She was appointed to the Circuit Court in June 2018 by Governor Rick Scott. Wolfson filled the vacancy created by the resignation of Judge Antonio Marin. She currently presides in the Criminal Division.

Judge Wolfson was previously appointed to the County Court bench in May 2010 by former Governor Charlie Crist and was elected in 2012 and 2018, and was elected to the Circuit Court in 2020. As a County Court Judge, she presided over DUI, criminal traffic and misdemeanor cases as well as civil domestic violence injunction hearings and uncontested divorces.

Judge Wolfson also sat in an appellate capacity over administrative matters and serves as co-chair of the Eleventh Judicial Circuit Professionalism Committee. As a Circuit Court Judge, she presides over serious felony cases, including death penalty cases. She has also dedicated a significant amount of her time to the Problem-Solving Courts.

Before her judicial appointment, Judge Wolfson was employed as a prosecutor with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office. Judge Wolfson also served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida.

Judge Wolfson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pre-Professional Studies from the University of Notre Dame. Following her undergraduate studies, Judge Wolfson received a Master of Science in Biological Sciences from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. Judge Wolfson received her Juris Doctor with Honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.
