Jenna Callari is an American sports anchor and reporter. Currently, she is a Sports Anchor/MMJ for WKBW in Buffalo, NY covering the Bills, Sabres, and local high schools and colleges. She started working as a Sports/News Multimedia Journalist for WKBW in August 2017. Prior to joining WNY, she worked for two other gigs in the sports broadcasting industry. Her sports career started at WAGM in Presque Isle, Maine, the United States she covered multiple sporting events during the day and spent weeknights anchoring two sportscasts on our FOX and CBS stations.
Jenna was also the recipient of three Maine Association of Broadcasters awards, one for news and two for sports. Jenna then served as a sports reporter and weekend sports anchor with WLTZ in Columbus, Georgia. She would spend the day covering the local sports scene including Auburn University sports and produced, shot stories for, and wrote scripts for our 6 pm, 10 pm, and 11 pm weeknight sportscasts.
Jenna was born and raised in Cheektowaga, New York, United States. Jenna’s family moved to Western Michigan when she was 10 years.
She went on to attend and graduate from Michigan State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree. While at Michigan State University (MSU) she was able to interview new football coach (at the time), Mark Dantonio, legendary basketball coach Tom Izzo, and also studied abroad in England, Ireland, and Scotland with a group of other journalism students.
