Jeffrey Robinson is an award-winning British chef, grower, teacher and writer. He is the Executive Chef at Harbour View House in St Ives, Cornwall, where he leads a kitchen driven by sustainability and seasonality. He is a contestant on Great British Menu (GBM) 2026.

Jeff was one of the first chefs in the UK to be awarded a Green Michelin Star while leading The New Yard on the Lizard Peninsula, earning acclaim for his pioneering approach to gastronomy. In addition, Jeff has received 3 rosettes and numerous other awards for creativity, innovation and sustainable practises.

Jeff’s culinary journey began in the St Ives restaurant scene. He then left to work in Bath, Bristol and London before returning to eventually head up The New Yard Restaurant and Pantry with his wife, Caroline, on the Lizard Peninsula in rural southwest Cornwall.

In 2023, Jeff started his venture, Harbour House, on the waterfront in the historic village of Flushing, on the South Cornish coast. The venture is focused on showcasing pub snacks and small plates that offer the best produce from the surrounding rivers, sea, fields and gardens.

Jeff also runs the St Ives Cookery School, hosted at sister hotel Primrose House, offering immersive courses that guide guests through creating three-course meals as well as specialist classes in fermentation, plant‑based cuisine, pasta‑making and seafood preparation.
