JB Gill is a British singer, TV presenter and author. He rose to fame as a member of one of the UK’s biggest boybands, JLS. JLS have accumulated five number one singles, over 10 million record sales worldwide and have won a multitude of awards.
Gill is also an avid and award-winning farmer and was the lead presenter on CBeebies’ BAFTA-nominated television series, Down On The Farm, Channel 5’s On The Farm series, plus contributions to the BBC’s Countryfile and Springwatch. He has been a part of the presenting team for BBC Songs of Praise since 2017 and has his own TV show Cooking With The Gills on Channel 5.

Speaking about why they chose a church ceremony, the singer told Hello! Magazine: “Chloe and I are both traditional in our views and our values. For me, marriage is the union of a man and a woman before God, so it meant a lot to us to have a proper church service with hymns.”
The singer also revealed the couple’s traditional values went as far as them living apart prior to the wedding.
“Like I say, we’re traditional and to us, that’s all part of this exciting new chapter in our lives,” JB explained. “For me, it’s a big thing. When you get married, it’s not just you any more, it’s the two of you and I’m looking forward to reflecting that in our home and making it our house.”
He added: “Today has been the best day of our lives and for now, we’re happy to spend some time enjoying what we have and getting used to being husband and wife. It feels so good to finally be able to say that.”

Gill’s best money decision was buying investment property. He bought his first buy-to-let house in Croydon, South London, in 2009 for £172,500 and sold it for £290,000. He bought a second one in 2011 for £182,500 and still owns it. It’s probably worth around £320,000. He owns a four-bedroom farmhouse in Kent that I bought in 2010 for £1.2 million.
