Jane Park is an American professional golfer. Park currently plays on the LPGA Tour. She started playing golf at the age of 11 years. As an amateur Park reached the finals of the 2003 U.S. Women’s Amateur and 2004 U.S. Girls’ Junior, and won the 2004 U.S. Women’s Amateur. She also tied for low amateur at the 2006 U.S. Women’s Open. Park has also made several U.S. national team appearances as an amateur such as the Junior Solheim Cup in 2002 (winners), and 2003, the Curtis Cup in 2004 (winners), 2006 (winners), and the Espirito Santo Trophy in 2004.
Park turned professional in August 2006. She tied for 18th at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament to earn non-exempt status for the 2007 LPGA season. She qualified for the Tour on her first attempt. During Park’s first full season on the LPGA Tour, she won over $630,000 to finish 29th on the 2008 money list. In 26 events, Park recorded four top-10 finishes, including ties for second at the SBS Open at Turtle Bay and P&G Beauty NW Arkansas Championship.
