Gina Marie Gauthier is the ex-wife of Carlton Pearson, an American preacher, author, and gospel singer. A native of Lake Charles, Gina Pearson is a widely respected Transformational Human Development Trainer and Coach. She is a leader in the field of ontological (science of being) coaching. Prior to her engagement to Carlton Pearson, Gauthier was director of constituent services for Rep. William J. Jefferson, D-La.

Gauthier graduated from Louisiana State University in 1983 with a general studies degree with concentration in psychology and business administration. She also did graduate work in public administration at LSU.

She is the Founder of R.E.A.L. Enterprises (Radical Expansion through Authentic Living) a multifaceted services enterprise that promotes transformational education, personal & professional development along with executive coaching. She is an International Speaker and Workshop Facilitator.

Evangelist Carlton Pearson married Gina Marie Gauthier in a Garden of Eden setting on September 3, 1993 at Pearson’s Higher Dimension Evangelistic Center, 8621 S. Memorial Drive. The wedding was solemnized by Bishop Charles E. Blake of West Angeles Church of God in Christ, Los Angeles.

Gauthier was escorted by the Rev. Reginald Wilson, pastor of Fulfilling the Gospel Ministries Church in Baton Rouge, La., where Gauthier was a member. Her sister, Charlene Landry of Lake Charles, La., was the matron of honor. Bridesmaids included Renee Godbey, Atlanta, Ga., and Gail Moore, Knoxville, Tenn., sisters of Pearson; Madeline Barkins, New Orleans, La., and Iris Gauthier, Lake Charles, sisters of the bride; Antonia Lawrence, Atlanta; Shantel Landry, Dallas, Texas; and Pamela Vinnett and Lindsay Roberts, both of Tulsa.

Pearson and Gauthier wrote their vows. “They are non-traditional vows – sacred, committed, charismatic, holy vows, but non-traditional,” Gauthier said. “They relate the purpose of God-given marriage.”

A private reception followed the ceremony at an undisclosed location. A general church reception was held from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. on Sept. 29, at the church. Pearson and Gauthier had a two-week European honeymoon.
